Pastor Matt (pictured here with Leslie Henry) has been serving as a pastor since 2018 and has been involved with the United Methodist Church for several years. He grew up in Boyne City, attending the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (where both his parents served as pastor at different times). Since joining the UMC, he has participated in both district and local youth ministry. Prior to being the Discipleship Director at Marshall UMC, he spent 12 years working at Marshall High School. It was during his time at Marshall UMC that he felt called to pastoral ministry. Most recently, he served as Pastor at Girard UMC for two years before moving to Milan in July of 2020.

Lisa has been serving as the Administrative Assistant at Marble Memorial and The Bridge since 2009. Before joining the church staff, she spent many years in the safety and security sector, working at Domino’s Pizza Corporate, before taking time off to care for her family.
An active member of Chancel Choir and Handbell Choir, Lisa feels fortunate to serve her church through her work in the office. She and her family are also actively involved with the Arthritis Foundation of Michigan.
Lisa and her husband, Kevin, have two children, Joshua and Katherine, both of whom are now enjoying married life themselves.
